  • Kristi was not the first person in her family to be associated with basketball on a professional level as her father once an NBA referee.
  • She started off with a strong basketball career, as by the time she completed her high school she had already won several accolades including the McDonald’s All-American, EA Sports All-American, and USA Today All-USA Basketball Team member. Other than that, she was also rewarded with the Virginia State Gatorade Player of the Year and Virginia Ms. Basketball title.
  • Kristi was one of the players who took part in the 2005 WBCA High School All-America Game and the 2005 McDonald’s All-American Game.
  • Her last few-second 3-pointer contribution to the University of Maryland women’s basketball team led them to win their first-ever national championship.
  • At the EuroBasket Women 2015 qualification tournament in 2014, she played for the  Slovakian women’s national basketball team.
  • Kristi was appointed as a full-time assistant coach for the Washington Wizards on October 16, 2018.
